Sunday Morning Worship
Worship at St. Andrew is diverse, creative and progressive. Each service is unique; featuring a variety of music and weekly communion.
Worship takes place at 8:30 am and 10:30 am in the sanctuary. The 10:30 worship is live streamed on Facebook.
Join us live or watch anytime on Facebook or on YouTube.
Children’s Church
Children's Church is back in session. The team is ready to welcome your little ones for music, crafts and a story each week during the second half of the 10:30 service. Don't forget to sign your child in the first time your child attends and to fill out our photo permission form. That lets us know if we have your permission to take and share photos on Facebook. Interested in joining the team? Or could you prepare a simple craft one week a month to support the program? Contact Pastor Lisa
Coffee Hour
Join us after each Sunday service for coffee, goodies, and community.
Join our Bible Study discussion as we tackle today's events from the eyes of scripture
As you read the newspaper, scroll through your Twitter feed, or watch the daily news, have you ever wondered what the Bible has to say about current events? Come join us for a new study where we'll view stories ripped from the headlines from a biblical lens. The study group meets Wednesday mornings at 9:30 am in the fellowship hall. All are welcome. Intern Pastor Mark will be facilitating discussion.
Register for Summer Camps this week!
Children and youth are welcome to participate in one--or more--of St. Andrew's 2024 summer camps! We are looking for campers AND helpers who would like to have fun, grow in faith, be creative, make a new friend, help others and enjoy being outdoors. Dates for this year's camps are:
* July 8th-12th: Kinder Camp for 3-, 4-, and 5-yr.-olds
* July 15th-19th: Beach Camp for middle schoolers
* July 22nd-26th: Day Camp for first through fifth graders
Can't wait to see you all at camp!
Faith in Action Day - May 4th
Sign up for a project
There will be a wide range of faith in action projects to choose from for those able to put their faith into action on Saturday, May 4th! We'll be doing yard work for two or even three St. Andrew partners. A wheelchair ramp will be assembled for someone in Richmond. The Jonnycake garden at the Charlestown Senior Center needs help with spring clean up. The quilters have 6 quilts to tie. There may be prep or sewing for seafarers, as well.
Sign up the next two Sundays and be part of our efforts not just to GO to church.....but to BE the church!
Healing Prayer/Sound Bath Gatherings
During Lent of 2024 we started gathering for services of healing prayer. The first three centered on prayers for the healing of creation, prayers for the healing of the nations and prayers around the cross. Each month, we focus on a different theme and use Taize chants, simple songs and the container of the sound bath for our reflection and prayer together. Participants can choose to bring a yoga mat or sit in a chair, whatever is most comfortable. Candles, symbols of the faith, plants, and color all shape a meaningful environment for contemplation and rest. Watch the website and Facebook change for Wednesday evening prayer service dates.
